Unfortunately, all brands don\'t own an outdoor clock... at least in Geneva (JLC, PP, AP, RM, Cartier, Panerai...). Nevertheless, which one do you prefer (sorry for the bad quality of my shots)? Best wishes Alkiro ...
It was very good of you to take photos of all the clocks and post them here. Something different and a nice change. My choice would be between the Breguet and the creative and colourful Gubelin clock. Thank you for the post!
I can see you know your way around in Geneva! I had not realized there were so many of these. My favourites are the Glashütte and Breguet, but of course the Gübelin is a crazy piece too! Best, HGL
Almost everyday, I walk rue du Rhône and I thought it was interesting to take shots of all these cool clocks. Ultimately, it wasn't so long to take shots of all of them (I don't know if I forgot one. That's the true question LOL). Best wishes Alkiro
I am often at the Eaux-Vives, but with a very small radius usually, I still don't know Geneva very well I must say. But its a gorgeous place for watch addicts for sure! Best, HGL
and I am much in love with the one Breguet did. Thank you for sharing these pics, very interesting and I would never think that there were so many. GEO
Well, I hope I don't forget one (not sure of that). I just regret that several brands don't own one. The compilation would have been more interesting Best wishes Alkiro
Next challenge is to take indoor clocks. But, for this one, it should take one week as I'd be obliged to try so many watches each time Best wishes Alkiro
It was not so long to take those shots as I'm very fast with my scooter (and because all of those clocks are concentrated in the same Geneva area) ;-) Best wishes Alkiro
This famous house was founded in 1854 and owns several shops in the main Swiss cities. You can find several vintage watches under this name and few Patek Philippe have been sold with "Gübelin" written on their dial too. Best wishes Alkiro
So wedded is IWC to the damn word "Automatic" that they reproduced it on a sign, not even a watch, that surely doesn't have an automatic movement. Great post, by the way. My favorite is the Breguet. A JLC reverso, with two different signs facing angled ri...
You're right, the writing "automatic" on the IWC dial is a little bit "too much" A JLC clock Reverso is a true good idea. I hope JLC will hear you. Best wishes Alkiro
Breguet, with Droz as runner up but that's just because of my lov of the dial. Frank Muller would've done better to leave the crown off, they've tried to be clever and failed because a crown on both sides looks worse than no crowns
Regarding Franck Muller, if you carefully look at my shot you'll have the answer about the two crowns. That's just because two clocks are back-to-back ;-) Best wishes Alkiro
I recognize a lot of your clocks! Like the Breguet one is outside the store in Geneva. I like taking pictures of big clocks too and branded clocks too (especially the ones in airports), and thus I really enjoyed this post. Especially enjoyed recognizing s...
