I found a box-full of old photo prints

So with your permission and interest I will scan a few and present them here for your amusement. This batch dates back to the Eighties, and seem to be from around Pebble Beach, Laguna Seca, Salinas, etc.

We stayed with our college buddy Bob and Leslie, so we didn't have to worry about hotels in Monterey. Looks like the 505 was the rig we chose - and an nice comfortable road cruiser it was, too.

Some of the cars on auction that year, this a Blown 53 Cadillac

A gold-trimmed something?

The Corkscrew at Laguna Seca - I drove this one time, it was terrifying -- a blind corner that just drops out from under your car

Getting into a Lancia -- ladies in skirts don't come near this car

Ready to close the front door (the redhead is not impressed)

Up to the ramp with the other ultra-low car up there

back to the track again.

Camping on the back side of Laguna Seca on a later year, with a bunch of European Citroen friends touring the West Coast.

Visiting the closest Lotus outpost to my place

Lombard Street in San Francisco, before they closed it off

Death Valley
