How thick do you like your early Tudor ?
...the range of thickness is impressive (7924, 7922 Big Crown and 7922)......
That's an old picture....no 7928 at that time....
...it would be somewhere between the second and third floors ;-)
The bigger the crown, the thicker is the case, the better it is.

I'd be curious to hear the answer to that one as well. And, what is the exact height/thickness of a big crown? I believe a 1665 is roughly 13mm, so it must be "shorter" than that? Just curious. Have a good night all! V/R Mike
The 7922 Big crown is just a little thinner...
...and the cases are different by the way, for instance the casebacks have different diameters (you cannot switch them). I believe the 7922 BC is a Rolex 6538 case, the 7924 is different in terms of thickness, shape, caseback threads, etc...
