Hi All, In honor of THE Anita Porchet, aka enamel Queen for horology, this post is about
a GTG in Hong Kong with only her dials, and a teaser of an upcoming thread regarding what I learned from my recent (virtual) GTG with the enamel Queen. Anita shared information about how many pieces her atelier makes a year and how many are respectively signed "A Porchet" and "AP", as well as other interesting details on her enamel journey.
For this GTG, the theme was "dials by Anita Porchet". We had 8 of her pieces and studied them closely under a microscope.
Given that Anita produced the dial for 5131P, I will now refer to it as the Ice 🧊 Queen 👸 (just like Don Justino) instead of King 🤴.
My new metallic orange strap ended up poisoning ☠️ the owner of the other Lion. He will now also get an orange strap ! Should I charge him a license fee ?😉
What color strap should the Jaguar / Leopard change to ?

I didn’t know AP made the dials for the 5131P?!? 🤩 Btw, that is an amazing set up to look at dials and movements!! Wish I had something like that…😍

Thanks for the info and reminder. I didn’t realize the 5131P was done by AP and team. I remember going to the factory tour and seeing the cloisonné dial being made at Cadrans Flückiger dial factory but it was for a 5131R . Btw…here’s a pic of mine 😉 ...
Yes, 5131P was made by Anita + team and it has the most number of
islands out of the whole 5131 series. Can you count how many you have ?😃

Thank you for sharing the lovely enamel dial watches by AP and Team. If the 5131/1P dial was made by Anita Porchet and team, do some of these dials have the AP initials hidden somewhere?
5131G and 5131P do
NOT have the AP signature. The only world time watch with “AP” is the 5531G. The earlier version of 5531R does not have her signature even though Anita and her team produced the dial. ...
