Giving my daughter away!

Some of you may recall I bought a Cartier Santos-Dumont skeleton for my son's wedding last year (see the picture below):

Well....guess what...it's my daughter's turn next week....what a convenient excuse for another acquisition! smile

This is what I took home today - Jules Audemars Extra-thin in white gold - another elegant yet dressy piece. Let the pictures speak:

The watch (at 39 mm in diameter, it is an older version of AP's latest novelties but you know my inability to resist Roman indices...):

The movement, seen through the sapphire crystal and caseback (19 jewels, 34-hour power reserve, 138 parts, manually wound)

For the black tie function:

Justifying the model's name:

Really thin....

Now that both my children got married, an uncanny feeling of loneliness begins to set in (I am sure I am not the only one).

Finally, here is a picture of the happy couple (I am sure my daughter won't mind me posting this picture - taken at the beautiful Bvlgari Resort in Bali).

Hope you share my happiness.

Sam
