Datograph trio
When i like very much a model of watch, i tend to purchase several units of the same model, normally with slight variations (if any)...
I know it sounds silly, but this is my way of being truly passionate about the pieces that i am fond of.
I have accumulated three Datographs in the past years. I must replace one of the platinum ones with a silver dial one (either Pisa -a rare find-, or gold). Or, alternatively, change the strap to a brown or grey strap.
Like other Langes, I find that the Datograph is a fascinating model. It caught my heart some five years ago, and i am tied up to it. for good.

To keep the three black dials, but each of them in a metal. That would be really nice. The thing is, the yellow gold with black dial is quite rare, as far as i know. Makes it even more interesting, of course. Thanks!

I would recommend the..
Rose gold silver dial.. It totally changes the look of the dato - more elegant and less sporty.. Also I have now noticed that lange's rg tend to become yellowish over time.. So the rg black dial and yg black dial might look similar over time

Completed for the reference ! Is there a different feeling that you have with the 2 white metal ? A yellow and a white metal is some variation. But to have a set, you must really like the watch !

I have one in the common platinum black dial and can see why you have multiples. It is an iconic watch. There are a few pieces where trying to get all combinations makes sense to me. The Datograph is one, the Patek 5070 is another. I'm on that mission.
