Datograph perpetual Addition
Well as many of you will know I had a quandry over a PP 5970 or the ALS DP. A lot of good adivce was given to me on both this forum & the PP forum, my decision was to go with the ALS, so without further ado, a few pics snapped on the iphone ( 4 ) ...not bad pics for a phone I thought
Love the ALS, definatley made the right choice for me, this is my new everyday wearer, goes really nicely with the shirt sleeves etc

Yes loving the look of it in the flesh. To be honest those pics show the look at its best, in bright light, I much prefer it when the face looks whiter. In the 'gloomier' light the face shows a lot more silver Good advice on the strap, definatley changing...

I have similar problems ...
I found it hard to read the sub-dial sin dim light condition as my eye-sight is slowly deteriorating due to age and looking at the monitor day in day out. Is readability a factor of your selecting a watch? Maybe it is just me since I resist to switch to b...

Fitted my Breitling Strap, officially its called burgundy, part of me thinks it adds a nice colour contrast to the piece, other part of me is not so sure. Much prefer the thickness though, it is much more padded and chunky, to me the size fits the case be...

... with this burgundy strap. Too stuffed, white stitches that will discolor ( or discolour ;-) ) with dust and sweat and simply not harmonious. It is a watch with huge drama. Burgungy does not do credit to the amplitude of this piece of art. It is big th...

..This is turning out to be the hardest watch I have ever had to find a strap for!....I did like the burgandy but then the white stitching has started to look out of keeping with it. The blue strap turned up, havent even put it on as its not the best blue...

Who said that life is easy for people with good taste If you think about something dark, you should have a look at charcoal grey with dark grey stitching. Only black and especially with white stitching is to hard - at least for me. Good luck and have fun ...

you know I never noticed how 'scruffy' some of my shirts have become on the cuff edge, I have never noticed at all what damage your watch does. The cuff on my left sleeve is still perfect...maybe need a pocket watch to save my shirts!

... but why not a (dark) blue one ? All the white stitchings so far were not convincing. The latest is quite good looking, but still I reckon a blue will fit very nicely to the hands and the moonphase and to a white metal... But, as already said: best try...
