Chopard Malaysia L.U.C Dinner Event

Last Friday 9 December, Chopard Malaysia hosted a L.U.C dinner in an interesting venue,in their duplex Chopard Boutique Pavillion in Kuala Lumpur with the company of their VIP guests and our Malaysia PuristS.
The evening began with cocktail followed by a 4-course dinner and finally, the ultimate dessert - the touch and feel of the L.U.C watches.

Mr ABM Shah Jahan greeted and thanked all guests for taking time to attend the L.U.C Dinner ....

Just after the appetizers, I gave a short brief of the Chopard history, the start of L.U.C and touched on the nine basic movements of L.U.C
and achievements since the inception of L.U.C in 1996.

Guests requested to see a couple of pieces which caught both their eyes

Ooops, missed out taking the food pics, except for my main course - Roasted Marinated Chicken with Mediterranean vegetables in tomato coulis, basil infused oil and parmesan crisp

After dessert, more watch conversations and for the ladies ...

they were looking at the Happy Series and Imperiale ...

A guess trying on the new White L.U.C Engine One Tourbillon and sharing a joke ...

A few trays of L.U.C pieces were showed to the guests. This was in front of me ...L.U.C Lunar Big Date, the L.U.C Lunar One and the
L.U.C Engine Tourbillon One.

Guests stayed late till about 11pm. A token of appreciation was handed out to every guests before they left the boutique ...

Tribute still? It is heavy because it is a solid chunk of gold and the 21,600VPH movement L.U.C EHG is large too. Case diameter is 49.6mm but surprising wearable due to the short lug-design and the movement is diameter 43.20 mm. Absolutely stunning moveme...

of guests attended, there is still a lot of room for improvement. Most of the guys perceive Chopard as a jewellery brand and not much of a watchmaking manufacturer. . I believe the snapshot of at least 36 movements achieved since 1996 is a good image they...
