Bvlgari Diagono Calibro 303 w/ white gold bezel

**Sorry for the crummy quality of the pic. I'd rather spend my $$ towards watches than a decent camera...

Does anyone have the (1st gen I think...) Bvlgari Diagono Calibro 303 w/ white gold bezel?

The utter softness and scratchability (is this a word??) of this bezel is driving me crazy. I'm beginning to think that Bvlgari ceased production in the white gold bezel and came out with SS bezels for the Calibro 303 in 2nd and 3rd generations.

This watch has been with me since 2009 but more than once have I thought about replacing the entire bezel.

Just as an experiment, I took a paperclip and very, VERY lightly, feathered it over the bezel of the watch to the result of a slight streak on the mirror-like shine. Are you kidding me?!

I know that most people sit in the camp that scratches, dings and chips bring a watch character much like a good pair of jeans. And I agree with this view. You should see how I treat my AP and PP on a daily basis.

However, I shouldn't have to baby the watch inside my cuff to be taken out to see the sunshine at my peril.

I sit in the camp that a watch should be worn and enjoyed, not sitting in a safety deposit box. But due to my experience in my only white gold (bezeled) watch, I've sworn to myself that it will be my only one. (Unless someone can convince me otherwise). That's unfortunate, because I really want to get a Lange (which only come in precious metals).
