Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 5402 / Royal Oak White Gold case rose gold dial.
There is a certain air de famille between these 2... At the point I am thinking if AP didn't take the inspiration of a nicely patinated 5402 for the dial of the white gold...
What do you think?

I like it, not at all for the frugal, though.
At this price, I could pick up a lightly used JLC GMT tourb which has the accuracy of a quartz watch. But very exclusive, even if such exclusivity is a bit artificial. ...

no idea if AP was inspired by the patina of a 5402. I do feel that this gold/salmon dial 15202BC is an amazing watch and one I would love to own if given the chance 😉😁

Hard to capture on picture but the subtle blue from the rhodium ...
Exclusivity definitely artificial.
