These were the holy grail when I was going to school (much more basic models than yours) Initially only kids whose parents worked abroad (i.e. Kuwait, Iraq, Libya) were able to get them, then a bit later they became available locally and I got myself one ...

Very nice pens you got there, the red looks almost like a LED. I can appreciate a finely made writing instrument but my penmanship is horrendous. I have a Cartier Happy Birthday that is my favorite. -MW
