Breguet

AND HERE IT IS!!!!!

Dear fellow PuristS and friends,

AT LAST…… The Breguet Marine 5817BA/12/9V8 is in my hands!!!

So, after the 5327 perpetual, I am the happy owner of this marvel of a simple and elagant watch!!! And. to make the joy bigger, I had the opportunity to take my two loves, my wife and my marine, in a nice and quite long trip to Hong Kong just one day after I received the watch.. So some of the first photos of the 5817 were taken on top of Victoria Peak!!!

Thank God for giving us such pleasures, to compensate the burdens of life… ( and since I was there I baught also a Ball TMT - the sturdy watch with tritium tubes that can be read at night, without the need of having to be exposed to light … and a mechanical thermometer from -40 Celsius to +45 Celsius- for everyday night use…

Posting photos of 5817 in Hong Kong… Hope you will enjoy the photos of a success that even the genius of Nicolas Hayek probably did not expected to that magnitude…

An elegant and sexy (as Nicolas - the moderator, not Hayek - aptly put it) watch for us, the followers of A. L. Breguet’s spirit…

Nice catch and wear it in good health. Am I the only one here but I have also noticed this before from other forumer's pix, it appears to me that the yellow gold used on the Big Date Marine has a tint of pink gold. Nice pictures by the way.
