A toast to the Zenith Cronometro Tipo CP-2 - our P15!
2017 has been many things to different Purists but I think there is a general agreement that to 49 of us the Zenith Cronometro Tipo CP2 - our beloved P15 - has been one of the highlights.
Seeing how we got some seconds of sun today, I wanted to take the final shot of 2017 of mine and post it as a small sign of thanks to the team that made it possible, and in my personal case especially to Bill and Magnus, who bore with me through the difficult on and off phase, culminating in getting one of the last ones!
If the other P15 owners have a picture ready of theirs, feel free to share

One of my favorites
The reason is, no unscrewing the crown, no setting the day or date or month. Just twist a few times, set hours and minutes, and off we go. Cazalea PS - then return a bit later to straighten the crooked bezel! ...

I especially enjoy the crown being of a non screw-down type for exactly the reason you mentioned For those of us changing between watches frequently and not using a winder, this is a real boon! Thanks for joining in with some great pictures

New strap for the New Year
Been wanting to try this one for a little while, but both of the Zenith supplied straps have kept me more than pleased. Alas, this brown looks great, and I am apt to keep it like this for a while. Cheers to you, KMII! ...

I felt similarly - being very happy with the Zenith supplied straps. But a bit of experimentation every now and again does not harm
