A red for New Year lunch..

 

Coming from a small wine village, Pomerol.  This wine does not cost an arm and a leg.  Why does it have to be, food from nature.  Vintage 1985 is getting rare nowadays.

Smell of truffle, mushroom, aged cranberry, silky tannin, still very good length

Love the series. Thanks. The wine looks well aged. Is that a plastic cover over the lead cap?

The wine was very well aged. I ordered it from a good friend in Bordeaux. You are right, a plastic cover over the lead cap.
