Some car producers are also guilty. This seems so bad, and is actually fuelling the 'grey market'. Some obligation of keeping the watch/car for at least 3-5 years would be more efficient (but difficult to enforce)

Do you know if the bracelet can be taken away? It is superb but I would be curious to see a steel Odysseus with a leather strap (i.e. is the case round between the lugs or are there notches as in the white gold version?)
