3 sweet Montblanc... my fav trio of the year.

No, no, I'm not talking about this superb Xmas log created by Pier-Marie le Moigno, the pastry chef of the Park Hyatt Hotel...

I'm talking about my 3 fav Montblanc of the year.

And good point: they belong to different lines of the collection.

Let's start with the TimeWalker TwinFly Chronograph GreyTech.

I liked this watch because it proposed the in-house movement outside the Rieussec context which was a good way to put it in a new dynamic. Moreover, I found its design very appealing due to the dial lay-out and the harmonious colours:

The Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph Open Hometime is an attractive watch and maybe my fav automatic one of the Rieussec line.

The useful complication and the open dial which brings a feeling of depth were clever additions without disturbing the classy and original design of the Rieussec watches.

My fav remains this Villeret Vintage Tachydate... the size is perfect (38,5mm), the low frequency movement is superb and even the date display doesn't spoil the vintage feel of the dial.

A great watch.

And what about you? What were your fav 2012 Montblanc watches?
