I have a small wrist size of 6.75 inches. On the bracelet on the striking 10th it certainly felt modern sized. After wearing it for some time i enjoyed the 10th on the strap better now.So on my journey I thought I try a 38mm bracelet on the latest new 38mm subdials. I always thought about the older 38mm, but I tried on my wrist on the AD and I preferred more classic sub dial styling. So I like how the 36000 vph and automatic prints were removed for the updated version. This is not to take away from the older 38mm version which I believe is still a great piece who may like the overlapping subdials and more modern scripting.Turns out the 38mm bracelet is a great fit for me!
So it looks like for me personally I enjoy the striking 10th/42mm more on strap, and the 38mm on Bracelet. This post is dedicated to all the crazy zenith collectors who tried every combination of the tri color to figure out what works. My journey took a few years hopefully yours is much shorter...actually mine hasn't ended yet.
