If you like funky vintage watches then you love 1970s and you definitely respect Zenith.
Here we have Zenith Defy ref A 7652 nicknamed Spaceman

Date is on unusual position for Zenith at 3 o'clock

Crown is integrated into the case and 5mm big which is good for big fingers date and time setting

Inside is cal 2562PC...automatic...sweep seconds...23 jewels...28800 A/h...power reserve 44h
Considered in 1970s pioneer calibre  because of its accuracy.

Case is 3.7 cm wide x 4.2 cm high in center satin finish and mirror on the sides.

This ref was produced from 1970 to 1979 here shown from catalog of that time

Of all funky watches from Zenith I have this one is funkiest.
And little thing that makes it even sweeter...the buckle.

Another amazing thing about Spaceman is that once on wrist it "changes" its appearance a lot.

Cheers
D

It’s very cool because you have two oval shapes (dial and case) inverted. Enjoy your new timepiece my friend

Best wishes Alkiro

Also way the different parts of case are differently polished is very clevely thought out

Cheers D
