This morning when I opened IG my soon to be ten year old daughter saw a picture of a world timer and thought that this could be a great present for her upcoming birthday (like father like daughter I suppose πŸ˜‚).

Now a 5110P might not quite be what I had in mind for her first - it needs to be fit for a 10 year old (size, weight, robustness, cost (so that she doesn’t get limited in what she can do carefree)…).

If it has some sort of world map that would be great and lume according to her would be a bonus (where’s all this coming from? πŸ˜‚).

We will get get a custom strap for her slender wrist but 42mm might also not quite be the ticket.

So any ideas? Quartz as well as mechanical is possible and so is technically vintage, if sufficiently robust.

Any ideas or recommendations highly appreciated πŸ€žπŸ»πŸ™πŸ»

The modern one would generally fit the bill but is large at 43mm

How much smaller is the vintage?

Been thinking of the Orbits Terrarum…

Will need to check for size and weight 🀞🏻
