WatchProSite Charity GTG for Typhoon Haiyan

My heart goes out to the people suffering from the effects of Super Typhoon Haiyan. In particular, on Wed the local news reported that young children whom lost their parents & left alone to fend for themselves under such difficult environment. It was heart wrenching & decided to do something. I hastily arranged for a GTG for last evening, where participants, including myself, need to contribute a small sum of money, which was to be pooled to be given the local Red Cross Fund for the Haiyan victims.

Getting participants wasn't difficult, but the venue was another matter. Within the same hour, contacted the local Lange boutique manager, Keith, whom readily agreed to host the GTG, even though it meant changing of his own shift yesterday to host us.

So all were set. Below are a few photos. Thank you to Keith & his team of Lange boutique staff whom graciously hosted us. Of cos, to the participants, including those whom made contribution even though they couldn't attend due to the very short notice. The amount collected might not meant very much, but it did make watch collecting even more meaningful to us
