1WatchMan poses a thought-provoking question to the WatchProSite community: do purists wear their watches while working out? This discussion reveals a spectrum of habits, from those who embrace their timepieces during exercise to those who prefer to leave them safely aside, offering practical insights and personal philosophies.

Just arrived back from the gym - without a watch!
First, I like to sleep with a watch with lume (I.e., sports Rolex) but don’t like wearing watches with metal straps to work. Working out with my “sleep” watch keeps it wound. Second, my electronic companion is for heart rate. The watch allows me to see the time quickly, without having to press buttons.
Takes the beating and keeps going!
... as my workout only consists of weightlifting beer glasses I need to know when to go to bed.
I walk, Run and Swim wearing my Rolex GMT from 1986. Great “work-out” watch.
Rolex sport in steel looks like a "sensible" option 👍🏻
