I have always liked, and owned "smaller" watches. 36mm is more than fine with me,

biggest one I have is a Rolex Submariner, that's about as big as I personally care to get. I've see watches on guys that make me just shake my head and roll my eyes over the size. I have a vintage Hamilton that is probably 33mm, I'd strap it on and wear it out the door in a heartbeat, if it ran, it needs to be serviced.

Very good point. Smaller watches are imo very tasteful

And a noticable difference to many modern but imo ugly man-quartz watches. ("DIESEL")

Excellent question. And good illustration. [nt]

Same here!

I restrict myself to a watch size of 35-39 mm. Anything bigger and it starts to look odd

This one is a real gem. So elegant! Yes I share your views 35-39 is the size for a decent watch. [nt]
