Watch photography is an art form, and even the most seasoned collectors capture images that don't quite hit the mark. Cazalea, a prominent WatchProSite member, bravely opens the 'cutting room floor' to showcase these unposted watch photos, inviting the community to share their own photographic misadventures. This thread explores the humorous and often bewildering side of watch photography, revealing that even 'bad' photos can spark engaging discussions and shared experiences among enthusiasts.

I'd like to propose a thread of watch photos we have taken which have never been posted.

Please, I don't mean over-exposure, out of focus or tedious, but specifically, images that when you look at the final object you think,

"What the heck was I thinking when I composed or took this picture?" Know what I mean?

Like stacking a Disco Burger over an MIH on a Waterford glass with some dregs of cognac next to an IWC Perpetual wrapped around bottle of said Cognac (was I thinking an ad for AA? or was I at a GTG?)

I thought of this when I was searching for bracelet images this morning (home sick with a cold, so have to do something while keeping dry, safe & warm).

NOTE TO SELF & OTHERS: Do not allow your cat to chew on a Smart watch. Tiger bit through the strap and buckle.

So, AM I THE ONLY ONE? Or do you have some outtakes in your cutting room drawer?

I think it's called film but you'd have to ask Casey to be sure

Bad idea badly executed

Hi I think most of my disasters have now been deleted - as you say you look at it & go why?! However this one escaped deletion It's a bit grim & just generally a bit horrible, I still don't understand why I'm letting it waste space I'm sure I've deleted worse & I'm also sure I'll probably post worse & every one will be wondering what the hell possessed me! If I take enough photos, one of them has got to be ok in the end! Cheers JML Ps I still own a camera that takes that funny plastic stuff! Cou

I had to search my deleted folder for this one.

Truly cringe worthy.

St George & the Dragon

And a tiny brass icon too. Not sure how they fit with beer and the GO? Thanks for entertaining us. I’m hoping for more, or is the crowd too shy? Mike

The travel icon is Russian.

When I used to travel to Budapest there was a shop in the Intercontinental hotel that specialised in Russian icons. The St. George is from a valley in the Dolomites famous for hand carved figures. And you're right, there is absolutely no connection among anything in that photo aside from perhaps the colour green. And the beer is non-alcoholic so I can't even use the excuse that I was drunk at the time.
