Yes, unfortunately.

But when a piece comes back from service, the handover experience is actually good, such that (imho) it's worth the wait.

I had a 2429 serviced in geneva, i think so, yes.

I asked PP not to clean the dial, and it did not. I asked for PP to leave the case alone, and they did. Yes, down to the leather pouch, little tag with geneva’s service numbers, and a single seal that a local technician would cut open for me.
