Such a great looking RG ๐๐ป๐. I think the new Akrivia/LV collab isnโt that bad , maybe a few adjustments on the dial and case/lugs and its better looking imho but I really like the complication.
I am not a huge fan of LV watches in general . But sometimes i dislike a watch when seeing a picture of it and then when i see it on the wrist i love it . At the end it doesnโt matter anyway because its not in reach for me ๐ฌ
But I think discussing the effort is important. Collectors need to be critical. If we begin to blindly applaud every effort, however meaningless, brands will lose their incentive to remain creative.
I understand your pov and I donโt know the reason why RR collaborates with LV at this point. He will have his reasons but he doesnโt need LV to be more popular. When possible i will ask him . Still i like the complications of the watch and with some cosmetic adjustments it can be a amazing and desirable watch imo
