India Whiskey Charlie's original post delves into a design detail often overlooked by casual observers but critically important to collectors: the occlusion of hour markers by subdials or date windows. This aesthetic choice can significantly impact a watch's legibility and overall visual balance, sparking a nuanced discussion among enthusiasts about design priorities and personal tolerances. His inquiry invites readers to consider how such design elements influence their perception of a timepiece's craftsmanship and wearability.

Too bad they also didn't eat up the 11, 12, and 1 with the date...maybe they thought it would be too big of a difference with the Patek 5970...;-))

I'm really digging it overall.

I love the traditional symmetry of the triple date moon phase. Breitling has very compelling offerings this year.
