Daniel (mrds) poses a lighthearted yet resonant question about the depths of watch collecting passion: does matching sock color to strap stitching signify a serious horological condition? This inquiry sparks a discussion among collectors about the nuances of personal style, the joy of physical shopping experiences, and the unexpected places to find sartorial treasures.

Enjoy your journey, dear friends!

Daniel

FabR ought to have a doctorate in pants. He's famous for having dozens of pants in different shades and patterns!

I can confirm that, here's the proof of my Pants PhD three years ago (or maybe it was my student, I don't remember ;-))

Now working on my M.S. (Master's in shirts), here's what I just found today in Italy and couldn't resist buying (all three by Isaia, which is becoming *very* fast my #1 shirt brand! ;-))

Beautiful shirts...

Have you seen the Kiton shirts? The bottom hem is rolled like an Hermes scarf!
