IMO, the Montblanc wins on the back, the Breguet wins on the front
when you like guilloche there is a Minerva offering as well
I actually I have never met anyone owning this edition
1990s and 2000s Breguet, VC, JLC, non royal oak AP, early Roger Dubuis etc etc And I love the Montblanc Villeret. Because they didn't have the history and the brand, so Jerome Lambert had to sell based on the quality of the pieces.
Villeret has got the top quality, all of it is in-house, even the hair springs are drawn through successive smaller dies in-house, the hair springs are even paired with their balance wheels in-house by hand (formerly by a lady who collected tractors, I don't know who does it now), the best architecture, and the best finishing. What a movement!
I am envious of you and also happy for you that you do not need to decide between the two.
