The Dollars Trilogy were literally the first live action movies my parents ever showed me as a kid, after years of exclusively watching cartoons. Despite never having been a cinephile, those films (and obviously the ones they were inspired by (Yojimbo)) left an indelible mark on me, and Morricone's music was at least equally as responsible as the cast's performances, and Leone's direction of all things together.
