This Piece Unique by Kari Voutilainen created in 2023 was sold in May 2024 by Phillips.

The dial represents part of our Earth as seen from the moon’s surface which is hand engraved.

The rest is miniature paining on enamel and Super-LumiNova was used for the separations between countries, the outer section of the Earth as well as on the moon’s crevices.

The watch is powered by Voutilainen’s calibre 216TMZ, featuring an escapement with two direct impulse escape wheels linked to an oversized, 13.5 mm free-sprung balance wheel with a Grossman interior curve and Philips exterior curve.

The white gold case measures 39 mm diameter.

The only thing that matters is how you feel about it.

Who cares about the majority? I feel differently but fully respect your dislike of this dial. Best, Emmanuel
