Amanico's recent post details the critical decision to replace the original injection system with a Weber Carburettor in his beloved Volvo P1800. This editorial piece highlights the technical challenges and ultimate triumph of keeping a classic vehicle on the road, offering valuable insights for fellow enthusiasts facing similar restoration dilemmas. Nicolas's journey underscores the dedication required to maintain vintage automotive icons.

After some serious issues with the Injection system, I had no other choice to change it for a Weber Carburettor. It was that or nothing...

So we spent the last 3 months trying to solve that big issue, as the car didn't run anymore.

Now it works flawlessly. Ready for many more kilometers.

The Beauty, the Legend is back on the road!

Best,

Nicolas

Nice to hear that success came your way. Can you send your mechanic over to see about my sadly-neglected Lotus and Tree CV? 😉 Mike
