Stephan (only5402) initiates a captivating discussion on the allure of 'brownie' dials, those unique vintage watch dials that have undergone a natural discoloration process. This phenomenon, often seen in specific references, transforms a watch's aesthetic, making each piece distinct. Stephan's original post invites collectors to share their own examples, highlighting the beauty and individuality of these uniquely aged timepieces.

I love this dial only5402! Funny how brown dials are not as popular these days but yours has gotten better with age. I recently posted the watch below

And got teased about matching the brown dial to my attire, I even got the nickname Mr. Brown! Great shot, wear it in good health…Jim

i hope the parmigiani dial is not so brown by discoloration 😊😀 - your watch is very, very nice and i think it is the right colour choice also for a actual watch - rsgards Stephan

Hi Stefan, the Parmesan is brand new and as you can see a limited edition for Oliver Smith jewelry.

The squared texture of the dial is really attractive, there was a lot of controversy having the Jewelry store and Parmigiani both on the dial but I like it and now have a matching bracelet from them.

I love the way you played it in such a subtle way, Don Turo.
