Close to perfection. I'd say get it, but I'm also in no position to afford something like that, so easy for me to say.
I have the lowly Traditionelle 82172. But thus tourbillon repeater is a masterpiece!
Haha! Here is a high quality pic from the net to show the gorgeous dial! I am tingling with just the thought that this could be my watch! I am almost certain I will be selling the majority of the collection and just keep a small handful of watches such as the AP RO, VC OS T, Patek PTD, Aquanaut, and Nautilus and perhaps the Lange double split. All the others are nothing to me compared to this piece of art!!!
What a beauty…. VC perfection indeed! It would be the Olymp of most watch collections, and def not seen on many other wrists. Should you go for it? A tough decision, and depends on how you feel about this half of your collection. Personally, I like the thought of slimming down the collection and only retaining top pieces. How do you feel when you imagine declining this piece? If this drives you crazy, then you know what you have to do. Cheers, Daniel
Sounds like you'd be left with a lange DS for chrono , and a bunch of other watches to fill the sports category. Do it! But another view would be, are you letting go of anything you'd regret or hard to replace if you have a change of heart? - Kevin
