See a really new watch, for the opening of the Paris Boutique. Not another version of an already existing watch. Thanks for your report, anyway. How do you do to miss not even one cocktail? Best, Nicolas
although not my type of watch, your report is spectacular! I very much appreciate the energy you put into your reports. Cheers, Eric
francois, thank you for posting these photos and your impressions. i am glad to see the Prestige de la france laurel engraved on the caseback of what appears to be the rose gold regular version of the 1972. I saw an example of this watch in NY a couple of weeks ago and the engraving was missing -- so perhaps I saw a not-quite-final version of the watch. Your pictures capture the patterns printed on teh dials nicely for our comparison here. And it is great to see live pics of the Metiers d'Art "d
that it can be difficult to come up with special editions based on those watches that are more compelling to collectors aside from the limited nature of the production. These Paris Boutique watches are nice, but I'm not sure that I would choose one of these over the base models. Bill
I particularly liked the 1972 Prestige. I would not mind any one of the two here. The asymmetrical case is very attractive, very "art deco" styling and will be a good piece to balance all the modern pieces. Thank you Foversta for this wondering post. /W72
with the gray dial, which is without competition. all the rest fade away......
