Chronometer's exploration of the Vacheron Constantin Overseas blue dial highlights a crucial aspect of luxury watch appreciation: the dynamic interplay of light and color. His photographic efforts to capture the dial's unique character, including its elusive purple hues, underscore the challenge and reward of documenting horological artistry. This post serves as a testament to the Overseas's captivating aesthetic, inviting collectors to delve deeper into its visual nuances.

I think the blue dial of the oversea is one its main attributes.  I tried to capture a few lighting ๐Ÿ“ to share and itโ€™s quite unique.  This dial even has some purple hue under certain lighting/angle but I was not able to capture it with my phone.

As good as your pictures are they donโ€™t capture the liquid glassy look of that blue dial. But thatโ€™s not a problem for you since you can see it for real! Enjoy your watch in the best of health! All the best, Jon

Well, if the date wheel would be also in blue than maybe this dial would be my choice as wellโ€ฆ. Yours, Adam
