AuHavrePro's original post highlights a captivating collaboration between Vacheron Constantin and Le Louvre, presented through a visually striking advertisement. This partnership not only showcases the brand's artistic sensibilities but also sparks a broader discussion among collectors about Vacheron Constantin's unique position within haute horology. The thread delves into the brand's distinct aesthetic and cultural appeal, distinguishing it from its peers.

There’s multiple reasons underlying this sentiment, but there is no denying its amazing heritage (which quattro helps to showcase), the elegant vs. sporty designed pieces, masterfully complicated pieces, AND the lack of ‘hype’ noise. It might be the closest to “if you know then you know” type of respect (again, of the big brands). I don’t know why the entertainers and athletes don’t flaunt VCs, but that means that much more when I see someone posting their VC. I’m packing up my soapbox now…😉
After the first independent purchase I finally made this year (Sarpaneva Supernova), my next watch purchase will definitely be a VC, most likely the 1921 which I've been waxing lyrical about since it was re-introduced in 2021........
as does profound 🧐🤌
