This post invites collectors to compare the two metal versions, focusing on how the choice of material influences the watch's aesthetic and perceived character. The discussion also delves into the technical accuracy of chronograph scales, a critical detail for discerning enthusiasts.

Last year, Vacheron unveiled a superb Chronograph in platinum, with cow lugs.

This year, the brand logically decided to introduce a rose gold version.

Strictly identical to the platinum: Same case, same dimensions ( 38, 5 mm ), same movement ( Cal 1142 ).

The only difference being the color of the metal for the dial, indices and hands.

How do you prefer it? Warmer or colder?

Best,

Nicolas

A cow has never been so lovely (or may be "La Noiraude" if you remember when you were younger) ;-)

I would choose the RG one. Warmer than the platinum one in this context. Best wishes Alkiro
