Chicolini's announcement of the Vacheron Constantin Cornes de Vache in steel sparked significant discussion among collectors. This thread delves into the implications of a steel version for a previously precious-metal-only model, exploring its market positioning, aesthetic appeal, and potential impact on exclusivity and value.

38mm case=yes steel case=practical=yes price=just case material change of an existing watch - i'm not sure it is right priced ! (usual way from VC) - better to save a bit more & land into a 1815 chrono...IMHO but then, the same watch @ 36 pcs LE for 'H' was at $45k !! Best, mahesh.,
Lovely piece, I’m highly tempted I must say.
Great move by VC. It’s even more beautiful than the photo suggests. The chrono hands are blue and the numerals on the seconds track are red. Very appealing indeed. I sincerely hope that the design and marketing people at VC have woken up. This great and historically important brand can do better in the current market. I hope they come up with a steel Overseas ultra-thin PC and a steel Overseas ultra-thin no-date next year. Both would be a no-brainer for me. Best, V.
i do like the VC, just i felt the pricing is a bit high - but in today's 'steel fever' around - i could hardly argue !
Congratulations VC on making this one, it looks marvelous in steel. Now... can we have PPro version in steel as well...? Black gloss dial, steel case, and no Roman numerals.... please! Yes please sign me up!
