Chicolini's Vacheron Constantin Cornes de Vache, a beloved chronograph, takes on a fresh aesthetic with a new strap choice. This post highlights how a simple strap change can dramatically alter a watch's character, making a classic reference feel contemporary and versatile for different seasons. Chicolini's preference for a monochromatic look sparks a discussion on personalizing high horology pieces.

Thats an excellence Color combination. It suits the watch very well I can see why you name this a summer combination. In dark winter time indeed another (perhaps darker brown) strap would match the season better. But this one for summer? Man I love it
A very nice combo. I guess it‘s not VC, may I ask where the strap is from? Cheers, Daniel
I chose something quite similar for mine, but I had this one for a few years, and it wasn’t meant for this watch. It isn’t bad at all, but I like the color of yours better.
Really like that combo a lot
Great combo - I’m a big fan of the monochromatic look, in different colorways too, but this one wins the day because it’s so versatile. And what a watch, wow
I wasn‘t aware you also have the Hodinkee version. An attractive piece, and a rare sight! God gave you two wrists - enjoy your steel cowhorns! Cheers, Daniel
