MichaelC celebrates a significant acquisition, finally adding the Ulysse Nardin Blue Surf to his collection after years of searching. His initial impressions highlight the watch's vibrant blue dial, which he notes is more intense than typically captured in photographs. MichaelC's post, accompanied by several images, sets the stage for a forthcoming review, inviting the community to share in his excitement for this long-desired timepiece.

I always admired this one. BRAVO, my friend. I envy you. Best, Nicolas
I do recall you fancy this one. I have owned a few Divers over the years. This Blue Surf seems to be a very complete execution by UN. I believe it will make for a wonderful, no nonsense daily wearer. More to come.
But this one is no go for me. I always found its dial a bit too much for my taste. I love its colours but I'm less seduced by the waves. Thanks for the nice pics! Fx
I have always been a fan of the Diver series, and still enjoy the original dimpled dials. But these waves work well for me, and add an interesting depth to the dial. You know I'm a huge fan of this piece, as the owner of #26 for over 6 years, I can attest to it's amazing wearability...on either the rubber strap or steel bracelet. I have had it on the rubber/Ti strap for almost a year now, thinking it's time to switch back... Huge congrats Michael, enjoy this gem from UN! Cheers, Tim
And know how much you love the watch. Happy to join the club. Almost hard to believe it has been out for so long, and that I waited so long to find one.
