amanico initiates a fascinating discussion on the Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight, delving into its design elements and proposing an ideal WatchProSite Edition. He meticulously compares the new BB58 with historical Tudor Submariner references, highlighting key features and suggesting modifications for a unique collector's piece.

The Rolex GMT-Master reference 6536 is an early example of the GMT-Master line, distinguished by its smaller case size compared to later iterations. This reference is notable for its introduction of the GMT complication, allowing for the simultaneous display of two time zones. It represents a foundational piece in the development of Rolex's travel watch offerings, preceding the more commonly seen 6542.
This reference features a stainless steel case measuring 37 mm in diameter, housing an automatic movement, specifically the caliber 1030. The watch is fitted with an acrylic crystal and offers a water resistance of 200 meters. The power reserve for this movement is approximately 42 hours, providing reliable timekeeping for daily wear.
For collectors, the 6536 holds interest as an early and less common GMT-Master reference. Its position in the lineage of the model highlights the initial design language and technical specifications before subsequent refinements. Variants within this reference may include subtle dial or bezel differences, which are often points of scrutiny for enthusiasts seeking originality.
I want this in 39mm.
That watch looked great, but in 39mm would be awesome.
Can't wait. No reason it should happen π
I very much like the idea of the Purist edition of this piece. Makes sense on many levels if can be achieved. In the meantime fun can be had in dreaming up a version. Your suggestions are very much in my taste I must admit... My perfect combo.... Case: same as the BB58 just released. Same crown as well. Bracelet: same BB58 Bezel: red triangle, not graduated (only 5 min) Dial: rose, Tudor logo, third row ideally βOysterβ but βGenevaβ is fine otherwise. Bottom half of dial depth not in red text (b
and will definitely be in if it follows the principles as you have summarized. Granted not all can be achieved, but to your point the items you list as key points are key points for me as well (incl using the BB fifty eight as base). thanks for your thoughts on this. Regards, sc16
... in replacing its trademark design hands for some that are completely anonymous? Tudor invested some effort to establish these hands as their style, and if they were interestged to cooperate with PPro, then I am sure they want to be acknowledged as Tudor. You would not expect JLC to make a PPro watch looking like a Rolex, would you? And after two date-less PPro editions, at least a pointer calendar should be permitted ... Marcus
