Not that bad of a Re-Issue,

but for the price you can get a mint condition vintage example and have enough change for a complete overhaul AND change for a nice dinner afterwards.

My bad, I thought the prices were USD

instead of AUD. But very nice examples of the vintage version can be had for 1k - 1,5k € if you look around a bit and are patient, add 500€ for a service and you are around the 1.975€ this Re-issue costs according to the German tissot homepage. And a nice dinner for the remaining 25€ is absolutely possible in rural northeastern Austria!

So, around 1600 Euros. Not badly priced for what it is.

In the EU it's actuwlly a bit more

1975€ including 19% VAT for Germany. But I have to agree with you, compared to the competition the price seems reasonable.

Ah ,ok. So even a bit more in France since our VAT is 20%. ;)

My initial reaction

- Who need a manual wind "entry level" chrono - it's has a Daytona look with red splash..
