CL's quest to refine a time-only collection, specifically focusing on white metal, silver dial, manual-wind watches with an 18,000 bph movement, offers a fascinating glimpse into a highly specific collecting philosophy. This thread invites the community to suggest both modern and vintage pieces that align with these precise criteria, fostering a rich discussion on horological aesthetics and technical specifications.

I'm currently collecting White Metal/ Silver Dial Simple time piece running at 18,000bph. It must be manual wind. I attach a picture of how my collection looks like. Do note that the pictures of the Simplicity and Observatoire are not mine as I'm still waiting. (Simplicity picture is by Vilit while the Observatoire....I lost track.....SORRY ) Please help by suggesting other watches you can think of in this perimimeter, which you think can add on the collection. Both modern and vintage are fine. If you can, try to explain why you think it should be in the collection. I'm all ear smile Thank you very much. Lovesss*CL

Maybe a Vianney Halter Goldpfeil? ;-) Anyway, two watches that come to mind are the Lange 1 and FP Journe Chronometre Souverain. The Lange is an important wristwatch historically and in terms of design, and also beautifully finished. On the other hand, the FPJ is a beautiful wristwatch all round, not quite as finely done as the Lange but much more elegant. - SJX

It's very light, thin & manual wind with 40mm diameter.
