When something is good, need not too many words.  The latest SWATCH SISTEM51, is a work of art - the art of simplicity.  With just 51 components in 5 modules, a 3-Hertz automatic movement with a stunning 90 hours of power reserve!  Pure distillation. Simply impressive!

Wore for 2.5 weeks about 12 hours per day, all I can summarize is, surprisingly precise with daily rate of +4 to +5 second per day, consistently (compare to atomic time).  Flipping over to the caseback,  a surprise, a well-balanced peripheral rotor which allow any decoration on the bridges to be displayed.  The rubber strap albeit a bit long for small wrists,  is comfortable and beautifully stitched with matching colour threads.

Though it is a good affordable time-keeper, a couple of minor drawbacks.  Adjusting exact time will need some trial and error or skill, as the minute will jump when the crown is pushed in.  Another weird point, maybe only  my piece, is the date does not jump at midnight, and it only changes at 1:28am smile

There are four colours to choose.  At the price, many would just purchase all four for themselves and gifts.

Some pictures of my SISTEM Blue for your weekend viewing ...  Enjoy !

SISTEM Blue

Heliocentric System ?

Small date window ... for the perfect eye-sights.
Wish the minute-hand slightly longer , nearer to the minute-track.

The diameter of the SISTEM51 is about 42mm.

Date change not happening at 12 midnight  but ...

at about 1:28 am.   Not much of an issue.

All five modules are secured by one screw in the middle!

Understand the components are ARCAP, an alloy of copper, nickel and zinc with exceptional anti-magnetic properties.

The escapement has no regulator and the rate is set with a laser in the factory.

Peripheral rotor ... does it remind you of another beautiful watch ?  smile

Surprisingly, besides the hands, there are luminescent- hour markers on the bezel and dial glow too ... but for a short duration.

SISTEM51 - 100% Swiss Made.

Good to see many of our friends here have other colours.  For areas yet to launch, wait for it, otherwise ... smile

Thanks for viewing.

Update : A few contacted me, seemed like the second-hack when the crown was pulled for time-adjustment.  Doubt so, it does not hack.  If yours hacks, it is likely there's insufficient power in the barrel, so your watch may stop anytime, if not wearing it.

Another observation, somehow winding the crown, may not build up the power (in the barrel).  Try manually spinning the watch-rotor (spin rotor -> rotor stop -> spin rotor sequnce) for at least a minute, it should charge up the barrel for a day.  If you wear it for a few hours and moving around like your regular day, this Sistem51, will take care of itself and stay up for a long while smile

All except the white

I bet a lot of forumers will get all. I will get the red one...maybe blue as well. If they do a scuba version it will be wicked.

Red :-)

I know many here in SG bought red as it is their auspicious colour this year :-) and a handful who bought all 4. The white is quite hip, quite good match for those carrying white mobiles :-) I am not surprised this movement could be housed in any casing soon ... as the assembly of the movement is 100% fully automated. Really curious to see the manufacturing line. Wow! If Scuba version, really solid!! Kong
