Cazalea provides an exciting glimpse into the Sun Valley Road Rally, an event where high-performance vehicles push their limits on a closed public road. This post captures the essence of the rally, showcasing a diverse range of cars, from a sponsored Subaru to Edsel Bryant Ford II's iconic vehicle, and shares real-time speed reports from the event.

The only mac larens I liked were the f1gtr and the m8 (the nearly unbeaten can am champion) powered by a big block chevy v8
but i'm afraid with so many straight lines... that is gonna be the problem, i had a cosworth htt as well prepared than the sub and also porsches tuned and a r8 (small one 4.2) what i can tell you is i was really faster with the r8 without any engine preparation even on coast roads. nice event anyway, lots of fun for everybody and YES! i love the gt40!!!
Despite the hemi engine's weight , the car was a blast to drive. Note that the engine was a crate ray barton hemi engine with a displacement of 525ci and 775 horsepower, he also changed a lot of thing in his car including front and rear bigger brakes, torsion bars, rear leaf springs, stabilising bars and rear axle. On the hot rod power, the guy reached a speed of 180mph. I know also a Swiss Driver Roger Bolliger who is a well known vintage Pontiac collector who races a 1970 transam with a crate
And I was amazed when I found out that the "40" are due the 40 inches (102 cm) of its height! Tall men had and have trouble driving it.
Can you imagine the conversation in that car? "Slow down!" "Are you kidding? How often do I get to do this?" "Slow down!" "You knew it would be fast driving!" "Slow down!" etc. CORRECTION: Actual speed was 149.0 "I could have done 150 without you yelling at me!" They got out and their son did 162.8 Another Ford, the Lincoln Continental 4-door convertible
Top speed for the Subaru was 155.2 mph Driver Kendrick Gray reports the course is rough and the drivers are having to hold off. He bettered his last time by 6 mph but is finished / happy with 155 Fastest monkey on the course!
