Six to choose from!

Two new creations inspired by the starry sky at night join the Seiko Astron GPS Solar collection. The powerful and beautiful brilliance of the stars twinkling in the vast night sky is expressed in the light blue dials, whose star motif patterns change their expression depending on the angle of view. Both watches are offered as limited editions of 1,500 each.

A new 4-watch series inspired by a vintage King Seiko design from 1969 (the year I graduated from high school!). Seiko offers us a choice of silver, purple, green or blue dials, with textures that evoke Tokyo culture
- silver dial is textured to evoke the modern-day cityscape of Tokyo, where the King Seiko collection was born in 1961.
- purple dial is made in the image of a traditional Japanese color known as “Edo purple,” which was cherished during the Edo period.
- green dial features a gradation that captures the natural greenery that has covered parts of the city over the centuries.
- light bluish-green dial with a textured pattern inspired by the scales of a rising dragon (animal sign for 2024 in the Japanese zodiac). It commemorates the brand's 100th anniversary and is a metaphor for Seiko brand’s progression toward the next 100 years.
The case shape is based on the King Seiko 45KCM from 1969, whose curved silhouette inspired the design of other King Seiko that came later. The new King Seiko series adopts the contours of the 1969 watch. The watches feature a new multi-row bracelet with mirror-polishing and brushed finishing to achieve a quiet sparkle when it reflects light. The new bracelet with shorter links combined with the low center of gravity of the slim case ensures comfort on the wrist. Thanks to Seiko’s slimline Caliber 6L35, and despite the high box crystal, the watches achieve a svelte thickness of 9.9mm. Price around $3000.
