Nicolas (amanico) brings to light a truly uncommon sight: the 1969 Saab Sonett V4. His detailed photographs and observations invite enthusiasts to explore this unique automotive creation, particularly its unexpected Ford Taunus engine and design cues that evoke comparisons to contemporary Honda models. This article delves into the Sonett's distinctive characteristics and the community's shared experiences with this quirky classic.

4 Cylinders 1, 5 engine from the Ford Taunus.

Not the kind of Saab you see everyday.

Doesn't it remind you of a certain Honda from approximatively the same era?

Best,

Nicolas
