needless to say, it a phenomenal experience. In fact, it was most likely in the top 2 - 3 of the best experiences I have ever had visiting an Indie or legacy manufacturer. Romain was generous beyond belief and spent the entire 4 days with us, amazing to do even though he is extremely busy.
Mohannad came from Saudi and we had others who flew in from all parts of the world just to attend. Truly a magical 4 days and I really do feel it was an inflection point which I cannot disclose 😉🙊. All I can say is: watch out Journe Society, the Twisted Guild has arrived 🙌
We were also extremely fortunate to visit the home of Anita Porchet, one of my horological crushes. To be with Anita and see where she created and still creates some of the most amazing masterpieces from the past 3 decades was a once in a lifetime experience. I feel so fortunate to have been able to attend and even more so knowing that she will eventually do a bespoke dial for my Logical 2. Some know that my Logical 1 has an Anita Porchet enamel dial so having Naita herself confirm and suggest a bespoke dial for my Logical 2 was indeed a dream come true 🙌
Mohannad already showed several of the unique pieces which were delivered during the event which added to the sentiment. And all of us confirmed several others pieces which will be revealed in the coming years 👌
All I will say is, the Logical 2 is NEXT LEVEL crazy 🤪 and a new piece which I cannot reveal yet is BEYOND NEXT LEVEL insanity ☢️😍🤩
Mohannad also showed my buddy's 1/1 Logical 1 with an incredible luminous dial. It is stunning and the ONLY Logical 1 ever made with a LUMEN effect !!
Romain also stated that there were around 250 Logical One models made over the span of production which is miniscule considering the number of years it has been around 😆
I would like to thank Romain, Moe, and the entire RG team for their time, generosity, and hospitality which led to one of the best horological memories I have had. Life has been tough for my family for the past 6 months, having lost both my father-in-law and my own father in the span of a few months so enjoying / celebrating life and creating more lasting memories definitely is needed and welcomed ❤️
