Jay (Eire) shares a personal reflection on his enduring connection with a Rolex Submariner, a piece approaching two decades in his collection. His post delves into the nuanced relationship collectors often have with their watches, particularly those that hold significant personal value but see less wrist time. This exploration offers a relatable perspective on the emotional and practical considerations of luxury watch ownership.

Definitely a keeper π
No question a keeper, but I struggle with the fact that while I want to have it I donβt wear it. But when I do wear it, I love it! (I feel like I just said the same thing about another watch very recently).
Part of the pleasure for me is reconnecting with old favourites Iβve owned for years and then deciding to give them a few days in the sunlight ;-))
Love the watch but wear it less than others. Why? It's valuable, crime in my area, a little bolder than other 5-digit steel models. How about you?
