Julian, known as watch-guy.com, shares a rare glimpse into his extensive collection of Rolex Prince watches, highlighting a particularly pristine 'Tiger Stripe' 971A. This post offers a unique opportunity to appreciate a less commonly seen vintage Rolex reference, especially one maintained with its original dial and accompanied by a period-correct box. Julian's three decades of collecting expertise provide valuable context on the authenticity challenges and historical market dynamics of these distinctive timepieces.

I really love the Tiger Stripe Princes. Thanks for posting this. Can you post a picture of the movement?
Here is the watch I told you about that just I just came in from London.
Strap looks a little tight These watches wear really well and actually keep excellent time I just would not wear it outside if it is raining! Julian
I used to wear a Rolex Prince nearly every day 25 years ago. After a few years I got going on Patek Philippe. My favorite Patek Philippe is the 3940. Now I am back to a Rolex Prince ( at least for a while…) . I am very pleased to have found a Tiger Stripe Prince that I am confident is correct and original. They are such beautiful and understated watches that speak of a very different, and very stylish time.
